In 1901 Amos William Allen and son Joe opened their door, establishing a reputation throughout Nova Scotia as fine craftsmanship of quality custom millwork, cabinetry and special furniture for churches, institutional buildings and fine homes.

Today, our tradition of craftsmanship continues. Our firmly rooted origins in the millwork trade goes one, and quality homes we have constructed dot the landscape throughout the Annapolis Valley. Our region's need for a good selection of lumber and building materials influenced us to expand our retail store - Allen Home Building Centre.
